Return and refund policy

1. Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU)
All orders are shipped under DDU (Delivery Duty Unpaid) terms. Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs clearance fees required by the destination country. Failure to pay these fees may result in the shipment being returned or disposed of, and no refund will be issued in such cases.

2. Refusal of Delivery
If a customer refuses delivery without a valid reason (such as defective or incorrect items), the customer is re ssponsible for all costs related to the return shipment, including return shipping charges, customs fees, and handling fees. If the parcel is disposed of by the carrier, the order will not be eligible for a refund.

3. Seller Responsibility
If an order cannot be fulfilled due to our error (for example, a defective product or wrong item shipped), we will cover the cost of return shipping and provide a full refund.

4. Returns 
All sales are final. Only defective or incorrectly shipped items are eligible for return. Returns must be requested within 14 days of purchase. Certain items cannot be returned, including perishable goods, intimate or sanitary products, hazardous materials, and gift cards.

5. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and credited to your original method of payment within a few business days. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, except where the return is due to our error. Partial refunds may be granted if items are not in their original condition, missing parts, or returned more than 14 days after delivery.

6. Late or missing refunds
If you have not received your refund, please first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before the refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank since processing times can vary. If you have done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@peggygoods.com.

7. Sale items 
Only regular-priced items are eligible for a refund. Sale items are non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer protection laws.

8. Exchanges 
We replace items only if they are defective or damaged. To request an exchange for the same item, please email us at support@peggygoods.com.

9. Shipping for Returns
Customers are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning an item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. The delivery time for exchanged products may vary depending on your location. For items valued over $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

10. Compliance with Local Laws
This policy applies to the maximum extent permitted by the consumer protection laws in your country of residence. In jurisdictions where customers have statutory rights to returns or cancellations (such as the EU, UK, or other regions with mandatory consumer protection laws), those rights will take precedence over this policy.
